Women CNIC and Voter registration Campaign (Ongoing)

 

Women empowerment play vital role for a prosperous society that SDF envisions for stability and equality in social system. SDF aims to provide various opportunities to the women so that they could be able to make decisions for better lives.

SDF is implementing Eight-month project “Women CNIC and Voter Registration Campaign “in Rahim Yar Khan District, under Strengthening Electoral and Legislative Process a project of Trust for Democratic Education and Accountability (TDEA). The main objective of this project is to reduce the male-female voter deficit by reaching out to areas where women do not tend to register their CNICs.

Integrating Gender Equality in DRM (Completed)

Samaj Development Foundation implemented six-month project titled “Integrating Gender Equality in DRM” in Rahim Yar Khan funded by UN Women. The project aimed to increase women role in community resistance and resilience to disaster.

Campaign for Eliminating GBV and Promoting Women Rights (Completed)

Samaj Development Foundation launched an advocacy campaign for Eliminating Gender-based Violence and Promoting Women Rights in collaboration with Young Man Society in two districts Chiniot & Toba Taik Singh. SDF successfully sensitized more than 750 community members on elimination of Gender-based Violence.

Youth Life and Enterpenureship Program (Completed)

SDF has implemented two months project titled “Youth Life and Enterpenureship Program “with the support of USAID/ Training for Pakistan in Rahim Yar Khan District. The goal of the project was to create awareness about Entrepreneurship and life skills among the youth of District Rahim yar Khan and provide them a platform to brainstorm ideas for economic progress.
